حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الصَّلْتِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي بَيْتِهَا فَسَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ، فَقَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ، فَلَمَّا قَالَ: حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ نَهَضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in her house when he heard the muezzin, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated the same words that he was saying. Then, when he said "Come to the prayer" (Hayya 'ala al-salah), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up for the prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الرَّوَاسِبِيُّ، ثنا فَضَالَةُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ الْعَطَّارُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً سِوَى الْفَرِيضَةِ بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs in a day besides the obligatory prayer, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رُفْقَةً فِيهَا جَرَسٌ»
Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels do not accompany a caravan in which there is a bell."
حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ» .
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform ablution (wudu) from whatever the fire has touched."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سُفْيَانَ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her).
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ شَوَّالٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كُنَّا نَفْعَلُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِغَلَسٍ مِنْ جَمْعٍ إِلَى مِنًى»
Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: In the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to do this: we would set out from Muzdalifah to Mina in the darkness before dawn.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، قَالَتْ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَوْبِ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَيْهِ كَانَ فِيهِ مَا كَانَ»
Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a single garment that was over both me and him (peace and blessings be upon him); whatever was in it was in it.
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ: «يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while he was fasting.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ: «يُقَبِّلُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while he was fasting.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّى، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ كَانَتْ فِي أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ مَعَ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، «وَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَهَا وَأَصْدَقَ عَنْهُ النَّجَاشِيُّ أَرْبَعَمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ»
Atiyyah bin Qays narrated that Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) was in the land of Abyssinia with Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), and that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married her, and al-Najashi paid four hundred dinars as dowry (mahr) on his (peace and blessings be upon him) behalf.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا حَسَّانُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، أَنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ قَدِمُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَّمَهُمُ السُّنَنَ وَالصَّلَاةَ وَالْفَرَائِضَ، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ لَنَا شَرَابًا نَصْنَعُهُ مِنَ الْقَمْحِ وَالشَّعِيرِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْغُبَيْرَاءُ» ؟، قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «فَلَا تَطْعَمُوهُ» ، قَالُوا: فَإِنَّهُمْ لَا يَدَعُونَهَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فَمَنْ لَمْ يَتْرُكْهَا فَاضْرِبُوا عُنُقَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Habibah bint Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with her) that some people from Yemen came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) taught them the Sunnahs, the prayer and the obligatory duties. They said: We have a drink that we make from wheat and barley. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ghubayra'?" They said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then do not consume it." They said: But they will not give it up. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not give it up, strike his neck."
