حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، أَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَابِرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَ اللهُ وَالِدَيْهِمُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ» قَالُوا: وَاثْنَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «وَاثْنَيْنِ» قَالُوا: وَوَاحِدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «وَوَاحِدٌ» ثُمَّ حَدَّثَ أَنَّ: «السِّقْطَ لَيَجُرُّ أُمَّهُ بِسَرَرِهِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ»
Ubaydullah bin Muslim al-Hadrami (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no Muslim couple who lose three of their children but that Allah, by the grace of His mercy, admits their parents into Paradise." The Companions said: And two, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And two as well." The Companions said: And one, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And one as well." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) related that: "The miscarried child will drag its mother by its umbilical cord (even) into Paradise."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، ثنا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنِ امْرَأَيْنِ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا ثَلَاثَةُ أَوْلَادٍ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَ اللهُ وَالِدَيْهِمُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ» قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَا اثْنَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: «وَاثْنَيْنِ» قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ وَاحِدًا؟ قَالَ: «وَوَاحِدًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ السِّقْطَ لَيَجُرُّ أُمَّهُ بِسَرَرِهِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا احْتَسَبَتْهُ»
Ubaydullah bin Muslim al-Hadrami (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no Muslim man and woman who lose three children but that Allah, by the grace of His mercy, admits their parents into Paradise." I said: What if they were two? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And two as well." I said: What if it were one? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And one as well." Then he said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, the miscarried child will drag its mother by its umbilical cord into Paradise, if she counts it (as a loss for the sake of Allah's reward)."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى الْجَابِرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ
Ubaydullah bin Muslim al-Hadrami (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates a similar hadith through Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَمْلَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَوْجَبَ ذُو الثَّلَاثِ» فَقَالَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ: وَالِاثْنَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «وذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ»
Ubaydullah bin Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who (loses) three (children) has made (Paradise) binding (for himself)." Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: And two, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And the one with two as well."
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنِ امْرَأَيْنِ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَوْلَادٍ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُمُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ إِيَّاهُمَا» قَالَ مُعَاذٌ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَاثْنَانِ؟ قَالَ: «وَاثْنَانِ» قُلْتُ: وَوَاحِدٌ؟ قَالَ: «وَوَاحِدٌ، حَتَّى إِنَّ السِّقْطَ لَيَجُرُّ أُمَّهُ بِسَرَرِهِ إِذَا احْتَسَبَتْهُ»
