حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنِ امْرَأَيْنِ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَوْلَادٍ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُمُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ إِيَّاهُمَا» قَالَ مُعَاذٌ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَاثْنَانِ؟ قَالَ: «وَاثْنَانِ» قُلْتُ: وَوَاحِدٌ؟ قَالَ: «وَوَاحِدٌ، حَتَّى إِنَّ السِّقْطَ لَيَجُرُّ أُمَّهُ بِسَرَرِهِ إِذَا احْتَسَبَتْهُ»
Abdullah bin Muslim al-Hadrami (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no Muslim man and woman who lose, in Islam, three children who have not yet reached puberty, but that Allah, by the grace of His mercy, admits them into Paradise." Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, and two? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And two as well." I said: And one? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And one as well; even the miscarried child will drag its mother by its umbilical cord, if she counts it (as a loss for the sake of Allah's reward)."
