Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about your men who are among the people of Paradise?" They (the Companions) said: "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Prophet is in Paradise, the martyr is in Paradise, the siddiq (the truthful one) is in Paradise, the child (who dies in infancy) is in Paradise, and the man who goes to visit his (religious) brother on the other side of the city is in Paradise. Shall I not tell you about your women who are among the people of Paradise?" They said: "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The loving woman who bears many children, who, if she wrongs (her husband) or is wronged, says: 'Here is my forelock in your hand; I will not taste sleep until you are pleased.'"

Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us while I was the seventh of seven men, five of us from Quraysh, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Listen, do you hear?" He said this three times. "After me there will be rulers. Whoever goes in to them, affirms their lies and helps them in their injustice is not from me and I am not from him, and I am free of him. And whoever does not go in to them, does not affirm their lies and does not help them in their injustice is from me and I am from him, and he will meet me and be with me."

Whoever goes in to them, affirms their lies and helps them in their injustice is not from me and I am not from him, and he will never come to the Pond. And whoever does not go to them, does not affirm their lies and does not help them in their injustice is from me and I am from him, and he will come to the Pond."
"O Ka'b bin Ujrah, flesh nourished on unlawful earnings will never enter Paradise; the Fire is more fitting for it."
"O Ka'b bin Ujrah, prayer is light, charity is a proof, fasting is a shield, and people go out in the morning in two ways: one who buys himself (back from sins) and so frees his neck, and another who sells himself and so destroys his neck."

Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us while we were seven men, four of our mawali (freed slaves and clients) and three of our Arabs, sitting with our backs leaning against his mosque. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What has made you sit here?" We said: "We are waiting for the prayer." He said: He remained silent for a little while, then turned his face towards us and said: "Do you know what your Lord says?" We said: "No." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your Lord says: Whoever prays the prayer at its time, guards it and does not waste it by belittling its right, then he has a covenant with Me that I will admit him to Paradise. And whoever does not pray it at its time and does not guard it, belittling its right, then he has no covenant with Me; if I wish I will punish him, and if I wish I will forgive him."
