حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنِ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة، قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «مَا يُجْلِسُكُمْ؟» قُلْنَا: نَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ، قَالَ: «أَتَدْرُونَ مَا يَقُولُ رَبُّكُمْ؟» ، قُلْنَا: لَا، قَالَ: " فَإِنَّهُ يَقُولُ: مَنْ صَلَّى الصَّلَوَاتِ لِوَقْتِهَا وَلَمْ يُضَيِّعْهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهَا فَلَهُ عَلِيَّ أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّهَا لِوَقْتِهَا وَضَيَّعَهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهَا فَلَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدِي عَهْدٌ إِنْ شِئْتُ عَذَّبْتُهُ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ عَفَوْتُ عَنْهُ "
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us and said: "What has made you sit here?" We said: "We are waiting for the prayer." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you know what your Lord says?" We said: "No." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He says: Whoever prays his prayers at their time and does not waste them by belittling their right, then it is upon Me to admit him to Paradise. And if he does not pray them at their time and wastes them, belittling their right, then he has no covenant with Me; if I wish I will punish him, and if I wish I will pardon him."
