Abu Jamrah narrates from his father that at the time of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) passing, he was sixty-three years old.
Imran bin Taym Abu Raja' al-Utaridi (may Allah have mercy on him) was a mukhadram (that is, he lived in both the Jahiliyyah and Islam, but his companionship with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is not established).

Abu Raja' al-Utaridi said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out until he entered the garden of one of the Ansar, where the man was watering (by drawing a bucket from a well). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "If I water this garden of yours, what will you set aside for me?" He said: "I strive to water it, but I do not have the strength for it." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Will you set aside for me a hundred of your dates, which I will choose?" He said: "Yes." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of the bucket, and in only a short while he had watered it, until the man said: "My garden has been drowned (filled with water)." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) chose a hundred dates from his dates, and he and his companions ate until they were full; then he returned the hundred dates to him just as he had taken them from him.
