Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Soon there will be men in my Ummah who will mount their women on saddles; they (the women) will be like men, clothed yet naked, with something like the humps of Bactrian camels on their heads. Curse them, for they are accursed. If there were a nation after you, these (your women) would serve them just as the women of the nations before you serve you."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded regarding the Day of Sacrifice, an Eid which Allah has appointed for this Ummah." A man said: If I have nothing but my family's milch goat, should I sacrifice it? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, but clip your nails, shave your pubic hair and trim your moustache; that is the completion of your sacrifice."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me to recite (the Qur'an). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I will teach you from the surahs that begin with Ha Mim." He said: O Messenger of Allah, my tongue is heavy and my heart is hard. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then I will teach you from the surahs that begin with Alif Lam Ra." He said the same thing again. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then I will teach you from the Musabbihat (the surahs that begin with glorification)." He again said the same as his first words. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The comprehensive, unique surah is sufficient for you." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) taught him "When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake". The Bedouin said: This is enough for me. Then he turned away and left. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him, and he came back. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "I have been commanded to offer the sacrifice, so you too offer a sacrifice on the Day of Sacrifice." He said: O Messenger of Allah, what if I have nothing but my family's goat? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, but shorten your moustache and clip your nails; that is the completion of your sacrifice." Al-Muqri' added in his narration: "And shave your pubic hair."
