Abdullah bin al-Harith narrates: Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) addressed us on a muddy day. When the mu'adhdhin reached "Hayya 'ala al-salah," he ordered him to call out: Pray in your dwellings. At this some of the people looked at one another, so Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "It seems you disapprove of this? One better than me did this, and it is a firm command."
