حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، أَمَرَ مُنَادِيَهُ فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ فَقَالَ: " إِذَا بَلَغْتَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ، فَقُلْ: أَلَا صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ، فَقِيلَ: مَا هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: فَعَلَ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي "
It is narrated from Abdullah bin al-Harith that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), on a rainy day, instructed his caller, saying: "When you reach 'Hayya 'ala al-falah,' say: Listen! Pray in your dwellings." He was asked: What is this? He said: "One better than me did this."
