Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "There is recitation in both of them." The man asked: Is this (established) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? If the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited it, I will recite it, and if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not recite it, I will not recite it. Then the man went away, and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to me: O Shu'bah, call him back. I called him back, and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Woe to you! Had he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited, people would have known of it."
