Ubaydullah bin Hurayr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, from his grandfather Sayyiduna Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by him while he was farming. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked about it, and he told him that the land belonged to the family of Usayd and that he had rented it from them. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to recover his rent from them and to pay them the value of the produce of their land. - These are the words of Ahmad bin Salih - Ahmad bin Salih said: Ita' means the value, that is, the value of whatever is produced.

Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I and al-Khatmi came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) intended (to set out for) Badr. I said: O Messenger of Allah, I want to go out with you too. He (peace and blessings be upon him) began to draw back his hand and say: "I consider you too young, and I do not know what you would do if you met the enemy." I said: Do you know that I can shoot back at whoever shoots (an arrow)? But he (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me back, so I could not take part in Badr.
