حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَدِمْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ صَبِيحَةَ رَابِعَةٍ، فَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَحِلَّ، فَقُلْنَا: أَيُّ الْحِلِّ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «أَحِلُّوا الْحِلَّ كُلَّهُ» ، قُلْنَا: نَغْدُو إِلَى مِنًى وأَحَالِيلُنَا تَقْطُرُ مَنِيًّا، قَالَ: «أَحِلُّوا الْحِلَّ كُلَّهُ، فَلَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ لَصَنَعْتُ مِثْلَ الَّذِي صَنَعْتُمْ» قَالَ: فَأَحْلَلْنَا وَأَتَيْنَا النِّسَاءَ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قِصَّةَ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We arrived in Makkah with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the morning of the fourth, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to come out of ihram. We said: O Prophet of Allah, how (fully) are we to come out of ihram? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come out of ihram completely." We said: Then we will go to Mina while our organs are dripping semen? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come out of ihram completely. Had I known beforehand what I came to know afterwards, I too would have done what you have done." (The narrator says:) So we came out of ihram and went to our wives. (The narrator) Ibn Uyaynah did not mention the story of Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him).
