Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6538 — Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik said: O

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, do we act for a matter that has already been finished with, or for a new matter that we begin? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a matter that has already been finished with." Sayyiduna Suraqah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then what is the point of deeds? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every doer is given ease."
