الربيع بن سبرة عن أبيه
al-Rabi bin Sabrah from his father
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6503 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade mut'ah
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ بَحْرٍ السَّقَّاءِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sabrah bin Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade mut'ah with women on the day of the Conquest of Makkah.
