Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6502 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْهَا فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sabrah bin Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it (mut'ah) during the Farewell Pilgrimage.
