حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: " كُنَّا نَقُولُ: الْمِنْبَرُ عَلَى تُرْعَةٍ مِنْ تُرَعِ الْجَنَّةِ "، قَالَ سَهْلٌ: «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا التُّرْعَةُ؟ هُوَ الْبَابُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "We used to say that the pulpit stands upon one of the doors of Paradise." Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Do you know what 'tur'ah' is? It is the door."
