Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5868 — Through the same chain: I asked Sayyiduna

Through the same chain: I asked Sayyiduna Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him): Did you ever see fine white flour? He said: "I never saw fine flour until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away." I asked: Did you have sieves in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: "I never saw a sieve until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away." I asked: Then how did you eat barley unsifted? He said: "Yes, we would blow on it, and whatever chaff flew off would fly off."
