حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَرُوفٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُنْعِمِ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not enter the houses of the Ahl al-Dhimmah (non-Muslim protected citizens) without permission."
