ثنا الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: «مَا مَنَعَنِي أَنْ أَشْهَدَ بَدْرًا إِلَّا أَنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَخَذُوا عَلَيْنَا» . فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Nothing prevented me from taking part in Badr except that the polytheists had taken a pledge from us. Then he narrated the rest of the hadith.
