حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ يَعْلَى بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ أُمِّ حَرَامٍ، قَالَتْ: ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غُزَاةَ الْبَحْرِ، فَقَالَ: «لِلْمَائِدِ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ، وَلِلْغَرِيقِ أَجْرُ شَهِيدَيْنِ» ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ادْعُ اللهِ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ، قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا مِنْهُمْ» ، فَرَكِبَتِ الْبَحْرَ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَتْ رَكِبَتْ دَابَّةً فَسَقَطَتْ فَمَاتَتْ "
Abu Thabit Ya'la bin Shaddad narrates from Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the sea expeditions and said: "The one who suffers dizziness at sea has the reward of one martyr, and the one who drowns has the reward of two martyrs." I said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah to make me one of them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, make her one of them." So she sailed on the sea, and when she came out of the sea, she mounted a riding animal, fell, and died.
