باب من يعرف من النساء بالكنى لمن لم ينته إلينا أسماؤهن ممن لهن صحبة فمنهن أم كلثوم بنت عقبة بن أبي معيط امرأة عبد الرحمن بن عوف — ما أسندت أم سليم
Chapter: Women known by their kunyahs whose names have not reached us, among the female Companions; among them is Umm Kulthum bint Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ayt (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) — Reports Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 21775 — she said: O Messenger of Allah! Advise

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نِسْطَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مِرْبَعٌ، عَنْ أُمِّ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوْصِنِي قَالَ: «اهْجُرِي الْمَعَاصِيَ فَإِنَّهَا أَفْضَلُ الْهِجْرَةِ وَحَافِظِي عَلَى الْفَرَائِضِ، فَإِنَّهَا أَفْضَلُ الْجِهَادِ، وَأَكْثِرِي مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللهِ، فَإِنَّكِ لَا تَأْتِي اللهَ بِشَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ كَثْرَة ذِكْرِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Anas (Umm Sulaym) (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: O Messenger of Allah! Advise me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abandon sins, for that is the best emigration (hijrah); hold fast to the obligatory duties, for that is the best jihad; and remember Allah abundantly, for you cannot bring to Allah anything more beloved to Him than remembering Him abundantly."
