باب من يعرف من النساء بالكنى لمن لم ينته إلينا أسماؤهن ممن لهن صحبة فمنهن أم كلثوم بنت عقبة بن أبي معيط امرأة عبد الرحمن بن عوف — ما أسندت أم سليم
Chapter: Women known by their kunyahs whose names have not reached us, among the female Companions; among them is Umm Kulthum bint Uqbah bin Abi Mu'ayt (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) — Reports Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ بِنْتِ مِلْحَانَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَمُوتُ لَهُمَا ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ أَوْلَادِهِمَا، لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ، إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُمُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ إِيَّاهُمَا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Sulaym bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any Muslim husband and wife who have three children die before reaching puberty, Allah will admit them into Paradise by the bounty of His mercy."
