حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، «أَنَّ ابْنَةً لِحَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، أَعْتَقَتْ غُلَامًا لَهَا فَمَاتَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً لَهُ فَاقْتَسَمَا الْمَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Shaddad that "a daughter of Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) freed a slave of hers, and he died in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and left behind a daughter of his, so the two of them divided the wealth between themselves in halves."
