حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَمِّي أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا ابْنَةُ حَمْزَةَ مِنِّي؟ هِيَ أُخْتِي لِأُمِّي، أَعْتَقَتْ رَجُلًا فَمَاتَ فَقَسِّمَ مِيرَاثُهُ بَيْنَهَا، وَبَيْنَهَا» ، قُلْتُ: عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: «عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Shaddad that he said: "Do you know what relation the daughter of Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) is to me? She is my sister through my mother. She freed a man, and he died, so his inheritance was divided between her and his daughter." I asked: Was this in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: "Yes, it was in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."
