حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَيَّاشٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، قَالَ: «أَعْتَقَتْ بِنْتُ حَمْزَةَ غُلَامًا لَهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَمَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً فَأَعْطَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ النِّصْفَ، وَأَعْطَى ابْنَتَهُ النِّصْفَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Shaddad said: "The daughter of Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) freed a slave of hers in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he died and left behind a daughter of his, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the daughter of Hamzah half and gave his daughter half."
