حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، أَنَّ الضَّحَّاكَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْقُرَشِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ: أَنَّ مَحْمُودَ بْنَ لَبِيدٍ، حَدَّثَهُ، عَنِ ابْنِهِ قَهْدٍ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِتَكْفِيرِ الْخَطَايَا؟، إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ الْمَكَارِهِ، وَالْخُطَا إِلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ، وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ»
Sayyidah Khawlah bint Qays bin Qahd (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you of the things that expiate sins? Performing ablution (wudu) thoroughly despite difficulty, taking steps towards the prayers, and waiting for the next prayer after a prayer."
