Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20750 — she said to the Prophet ﷺ: The sons

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ يُصِيبُهُمُ الْعَيْنُ أَفَأَسْتَرْقِي لَهُمْ؟ فَقَالَ: «نَعَمْ لَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ سَابِقَ الْقَدَرِ لَسَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma' bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): The sons of Ja'far are afflicted by the evil eye; may I have ruqyah done for them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes. If anything were to outstrip the decree, the evil eye would outstrip it."
