Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19294 — The mother of all the sons and daughters

Al-Zubayr bin Bakkar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The mother of all the sons and daughters of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), except Ibrahim, was Sayyidah Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her), who in the time of Jahiliyyah was called al-Tahirah (the pure). She was the daughter of Asad bin Abd al-Uzza bin Qusayy, and her mother was Fatimah bint Za'idah bint Jundub, who is al-Asamm bin Sakhr bin Abd Ma'is bin Amir bin Lu'ayy; her mother was Halah bint Abd Manaf bin al-Harith bin Munqidh bin Amr bin Ma'is bin Amr bin Lu'ayy, and her mother was al-Ariqah, whose name was Qilabah bint Sa'd bin Sahm bin Amr bin Husays bin Ka'b bin Lu'ayy. And Hibban bin Abd Manaf, the full brother of Halah, was the man who shot an arrow at Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day of the Trench and said: Take that, and I am the son of al-Ariqah. At this the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah make your face sweat in the Fire." The arrow struck Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) in the main vein of the arm (al-akhal), may Allah have mercy on Sa'd, and he died a martyr. Before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyidah Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her) had been married to Atiq bin A'idh bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Makhzum, and she bore him Hind bin Atiq. Then after him Abu Halah Malik bin Nabbash bin Zurarah bin Wafdan bin Habib bin Salamah bin Adi, of Banu Usayd bin Amr bin Tamim, an ally of Banu Abd al-Dar bin Qusayy, married her, and she bore him Hind bin Abi Halah. So Hind bin Atiq, and Hind and Halah, the sons of Abu Halah Malik bin Nabbash bin Zurarah, were all maternal brothers of the children of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); their mother was Khadijah bint Khuwaylid.
