It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) (Ibn Abjar narrated it as marfu', that is, as a saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), while Mutarrif did not narrate it as marfu') that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Musa (peace be upon him) said: 'O my Lord, tell me about the one of lowest rank among the people of Paradise.' Allah Almighty said: 'Yes, he is a man who will come after (all) the people have settled in their places and taken their shares. It will be said to him: Enter Paradise. He will say: O my Lord, how can I enter when the people have already settled in their places and taken their shares? It will be said to him: Are you not pleased to have the like of what one of the kings of this world had? He will say: I am pleased, O my Lord. It will be said to him: You shall have the like of it, and the like of it, and the like of it (as well).' (Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) gestured by closing all five of his fingers.) 'He will say: I am pleased, O my Lord. It will be said to him: This (all) is yours, and along with it whatever your soul desires and whatever delights your eye. He will say: I am pleased, O my Lord.' Musa (peace be upon him) said: 'O my Lord, tell me also about the one of highest rank among the people of Paradise.' Allah Almighty said: 'Yes, it is about them that you have asked, and I will tell you about them: I planted their honour with My own Hand and set a seal upon it, so that no eye has seen it, no ear has heard of it, and it has never occurred to the heart of any human being.'" And its confirmation in the Book of Allah is: "No soul knows what has been kept hidden for them of the comfort of the eyes as a reward for what they used to do." [Surah al-Sajdah: 17]
