It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muhayyisah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I had a slave who was a cupper, called Abu Taybah, and he earned a great deal. When "the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the earnings of the cupper," I sought his permission concerning it, but he refused. Then I kept speaking to him and mentioning my need until he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Put his earnings into the belly of your water-carrying camel."
