It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muhayyisah bin Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he had a slave who was a cupper, called Nafi' Abu Taybah. He went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him about his earnings, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not go near it." He asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) again, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Feed it to your water-carrying camel; put it into its belly."
