Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16033 — from his father, Sayyiduna Qabisah

Qatan bin Qabisah narrated from his father, Sayyiduna Qabisah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Taking omens from birds, drawing lines in the sand, and superstitious pessimism are part of shirk (associating partners with Allah)."
