Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once he was travelling with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and people were with them as well; (it was) the occasion of the return from Hunayn. The Bedouins clung to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), asking him for things, until they forced him (peace and blessings be upon him) against an acacia tree, and it snatched his (peace and blessings be upon him) cloak. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped and said: "Give me my cloak. If I had livestock equal in number to these thorny trees, I would distribute them, and then you would not find me miserly, a liar or cowardly."
