Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once he was travelling with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the return from Hunayn. The Bedouins clung to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), asking him for things, until they forced him (peace and blessings be upon him) against a lote tree, and it snatched the cloak of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped and said: "For Allah's sake! Give me my cloak. If there were livestock equal in number to these thorny trees, I would distribute them among you, and you would not find me miserly, cowardly or a liar."
