حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، وَقَتَادَةَ، وَحُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ، وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man freed six slaves. This reached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) cast lots among them, freed two and kept four in slavery.
