Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 14221 — I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about game caught by a dog. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you send your dog and mention the name of Allah, and it catches and kills, then eat; and if it eats any of it, then do not eat, for it only held it back for itself."
