Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12533 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to have himself cupped three times on the two veins at the sides of the neck, or between the two shoulders. A slave from Banu Bayadah called Abu Hind used to cup him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he used to pay his masters one and a half mudd every day. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) interceded for him, so they remitted half a mudd from him. And afterwards the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to give the cupper his wage; had it been unlawful, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not have given it to him.
