Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12534 — The Prophet ﷺ had himself cupped

حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْحَدَّادُ، ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، احْتَجَمَ فِي الْأَخْدَعَيْنِ، وَالْكَاهِلِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had himself cupped on the two veins at the sides of the neck and between the shoulders.
