Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12532 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent for Abu

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى أَبِي طَيْبَةَ فَحَجَمَهُ وَوَضَعَ عَنْهُ مِنْ خَرَاجِهِ نِصْفَ صَاعٍ، أَوْ أَكْثَرَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent for Abu Taybah, who cupped him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) remitted half a sa', or more, of his levy (kharaj).
