It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No believer wrongs and oppresses another believer except that Allah Almighty will surely exact retribution from him on the Day of Resurrection."
Imam Abd bin Humayd narrated this hadith in his Musnad (al-Muntakhab); however, its chain contains the narrator Abu Harun al-Abdi, who is severely weak and matruk (abandoned), on account of which this narration is weak in its chain.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wrongdoing is of three kinds: a wrong that Allah Almighty will not leave (without reckoning), a wrong that will be forgiven, and a wrong that will never be forgiven. As for the wrong that will not be forgiven, it is associating partners with Allah (shirk), which Allah will never forgive. As for the wrong that will be forgiven, it is the servant's wronging himself (through sins) in matters between himself and his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic. And as for the wrong that Allah Almighty will not leave (without retaliation), Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will (on the Day of Resurrection) make the servants settle their scores with one another."
[Takhrij: Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated it in his Musnad (2112); see also: al-Silsilah al-Sahihah (1927). Its chain contains Yazid al-Raqashi, a da'if (weak) narrator, but on the basis of supporting narrations Allamah al-Albani declared it hasan (good).]

It is narrated from Abu Uthman al-Nahdi (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "On the Day of Resurrection a man will be brought who has good deeds as abundant as firm, lofty mountains fixed in the earth. Then one person after another will keep coming to demand from him some wrong done to him, taking his share of his good deeds, until not a single good deed remains with him; indeed it will reach the point that (the wronged people's) sins will be transferred into his account instead." The narrator of the hadith (Khalid al-Hadhdha') said: I asked Abu Uthman: "From whom did you hear this?" He mentioned six eminent Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), of whom I remember the names of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud, Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman and Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with them).
The chain of this narration is sahih (authentic), and its meaning is fully supported by hadith number 2581 of Sahih Muslim, in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared the true 'bankrupt' to be the person whose good deeds will be given to others because of his violation of the rights of people.
