قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُكْسَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ قُبْطِيَّتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَنْ يَمِينِ الْعَرْشِ .
4579 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، بِهَذَا .
هُوَ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ مِنْ مُسْنَدِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، أَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ .
4579 \ 2 - وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، بِهَذَا .
هُوَ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ مِنْ مُسْنَدِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، أَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The first of creation to be clothed on the Day of Resurrection will be Ibrahim (peace and blessings be upon him); he will be clothed in two fine white cotton garments woven in Egypt (a Coptic pair). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will be clothed, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) will be seated on the right side of the Throne."
Imam Abu Ya'la also narrated it in the same way with his own chain through Muhammad bin Abdullah bin al-Zubayr from Sufyan; moreover, this narration is part of a long hadith of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), which Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal recorded in his Musnad.
