It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The lifespan of the fly is forty nights, and all flies will be in the Fire except the honeybee."
The hadith scholar Abu Sa'id says that a similar narration is also reported from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) marfu'an (that is, attributed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)), but the words "except the honeybee" are not mentioned in it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All flies, every one of them, will be in the Fire, except honeybees." And Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) used to dislike killing honeybees.
It is also narrated in the same way through another chain, and (in this chain too) the phrase "qala Mujahid" (Mujahid said) is mudraj (inserted) within the report itself.
