قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، ثَنَا سُكَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : عُمُرُ الذُّبَابِ أَرْبَعُونَ لَيْلَةً ، وَالذُّبَابُ كُلُّهُ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا النَّحْلَ .
2334 \ 2 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ، ثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ الْعَاصِ ، ثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مَرْفُوعًا مِثْلَهُ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ : " إِلَّا النَّحْلَ " .

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The lifespan of the fly is forty nights, and all flies will be in the Fire except the honeybee."
The hadith scholar Abu Sa'id says that a similar narration is also reported from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) marfu'an (that is, attributed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)), but the words "except the honeybee" are not mentioned in it.
