Delaying Asr and praying it early

Umarah bin Asim narrates: I went to Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), (then the narrator mentioned the full incident, in which it is stated that) then a maidservant came to him and said: "It is time for the prayer, 'aslahakallah' (may Allah set your affairs right)!" He asked: "Which prayer?" She said: "The Asr prayer." He asked: "Have you prayed it?" She replied: "I prayed it before I came to you." He said: "Move away from me; the time of Asr has not yet come." Then she came back to him, and he said to her the same thing as before. Then when she insisted again, he said: "I have heard what you said; now give me water for ablution, for people offer this prayer before its (best) time." Then he prayed.

It is narrated from a woman named Tamimah: I went to the Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she offered the Asr prayer at the time which you people call the time between the two prayers. Then she said: "Indeed, we, the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), do not pray when the sunlight has turned yellow (that is, we do not delay the Asr prayer so much that the sunshine turns pale)."
[Takhrij: Imam Ishaq bin Rahwayh recorded this report in "al-Musnad" (1251). The woman named Tamimah in its chain is of unknown condition (mastur); however, offering Asr at the start of its time is established by other sahih hadith.]
