وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَوْ أَنَّ حَجَرًا كَسَبْعِ خَلِفَاتٍ بِشُحُومِهِنَّ وَأَوْلَادِهِنَّ أُلْقِيَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ لَهَوَى سَبْعِينَ عَامًا ، لَا يَبْلُغُ قَعْرَهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a stone equal in size to seven pregnant she-camels, together with their fat and the young in their wombs (extremely heavy and massive), were thrown into Hell, it would keep falling in it for seventy years, and still it would not reach its depth (bottom)."
The chain of this narration contains the narrator Yazid al-Raqashi, who is weak; however, the meaning of falling for seventy years with regard to the depth of Hell is also established by other authentic hadith.
