It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was seated on (Mount) Hira when suddenly the mountain began to tremble, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed it and said: "Be still, Hira! For there is no one upon you except a Prophet, a Siddiq (one of utmost truthfulness) or a martyr." At that time, with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the mountain were Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar, Sayyiduna Uthman, Sayyiduna Ali, Sayyiduna Talhah, Sayyiduna al-Zubayr, Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf, Sayyiduna Sa'd and Sayyiduna Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with them all).
Supporting reports for the text of this hadith exist in Sunan Abi Dawud (4648) and Sunan al-Tirmidhi (3703), through which this narration is strengthened and reaches the level of sahih (authentic); however, this particular chain contains a narrator named al-Nadr Abu Umar al-Khazzaz, whose memory the hadith scholars have criticised.
