حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ ، ثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُزَرِّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : بَصُرَ عَيْنِي وَسَمِعَ أُذُنِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ أَخَذَ بِيَدِ حَسَنٍ أَوْ حُسَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا - وَأَكْثَرُ ظَنِّي أَنَّهُ حُسَيْنٌ - وَوَضَعَ قَدَمَيْهِ عَلَى قَدَمَيْهِ .. الْحَدِيثَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "My eye saw with its own sight and my ear heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was holding the hand of Sayyiduna al-Hasan or Sayyiduna al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both) (and my strongest belief is that it was Sayyiduna al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him)), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) had placed his two feet on his own feet."
Takhrij: Al-Bukhari recorded it in al-Adab al-Mufrad (no. 247), and al-Albani graded its chain hasan (good).
