It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The barrier and screen between the eyes of the jinn and the private parts of the children of Adam is that when a person takes off his clothes he says: 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah)." One of the narrators of this narration, Muhammad, is da'if (weak), while Sa'id bin Maslamah contradicted him and narrated it through Imam al-A'mash, Zayd al-Ammi and Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him); Imam Ibn Adi and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, (al-Tabarani) in his books 'al-Da'awat' and 'al-Mu'jam al-Awsat'.
