حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا الْوَلِيدُ هُوَ ابْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ أَبِي قَنَانٍ قَالَ : " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبُولَ فَوَافَى عَزَازًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَخَذَ عُودًا فَنَكَتَ بِهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى يُثِيرَ التُّرَابَ ، ثُمَّ يَبُولُ فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Talhah bin Abi Qanan: "Indeed, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to urinate and came to a hard patch of ground (where there was a risk of splashes), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would take a stick and scratch or dig the ground with it until the soil there became loose and rose up; then he (peace and blessings be upon him) would urinate on that (loosened) spot."
