وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ] : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أُبَيٌّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : ( الصَّلَاةُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ حَسَنٌ ، قَدْ فَعَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Performing prayer in just a single garment is good and commendable, and we have certainly prayed in this way in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."
